At Pure Tallow, we believe premium quality shouldn't come with premium shipping costs. That's why we offer free shipping on all orders throughout South Africa.

Delivery Information

Delivery Timeframe

Orders are typically delivered within 3-5 business days from the date of dispatch. Please note that business days exclude weekends and public holidays.

Courier Service

We partner with Courier Guy, one of South Africa's most reliable courier services, to ensure your Pure Tallow products arrive safely and on time.

Coverage Area

We currently ship to all addresses within South Africa. Unfortunately, we do not offer international shipping at this time.

Order Processing

Processing Time

Orders are processed and dispatched within 1-2 business days of payment confirmation. You will receive a tracking number via email once your order has been dispatched.

Order Tracking

Once your order ships, you'll receive:

  • Email confirmation with tracking number
  • Courier Guy tracking link to monitor your delivery
  • SMS updates on delivery progress

Delivery Address

Please ensure your delivery address is complete and accurate. We deliver to:

  • Residential addresses
  • Business addresses
  • PO Boxes (where Courier Guy service is available)

Important: Please provide a contact number where you can be reached during business hours in case the courier needs to contact you.

Product Care During Transit

Our grass-fed tallow is shelf-stable and travels well. However, during hot summer months, your tallow may soften or liquify during transit. This is completely normal and does not affect the quality of the product. Simply allow it to cool and solidify at room temperature or refrigerate upon arrival.

Delivery Issues

Delayed Deliveries

While we strive for timely delivery, occasional delays may occur due to:

  • Remote or rural locations
  • Extreme weather conditions
  • Public holidays
  • Courier service disruptions

If your order hasn't arrived within 7 business days, please contact us immediately and we'll investigate.

Failed Delivery Attempts

If the courier is unable to deliver your order (e.g., no one available to receive), they will:

  • Leave a notification card
  • Attempt redelivery on the next business day
  • Contact you via phone or SMS

After 3 failed delivery attempts, your order will be returned to us. You can arrange for redelivery or collection at your nearest Courier Guy depot.

Damaged or Missing Items

We take great care in packaging your order. However, if your items arrive damaged or if anything is missing:

  1. Take photos of the packaging and damaged items
  2. Contact us within 48 hours
  3. Include your order number and photos
  4. We'll arrange a replacement or refund immediately
